I'm 18, a pre-med student, a Hafiz-e-Quran, and the solo developer who built BeambePrep from the ground up.
I've always loved using Anki, but I wanted to build something tailored, modern, and highly accessible. I had been programming for a while, but never at this massive scale. This project became a total obsession. I was so deeply passionate about figuring out the architecture that solutions and code ideas would literally come to me in my sleep.
I was born and raised in Bannu, KPK. My region has seen its fair share of hardship, crime, and terrorism. Looking around, I realized my best option to grow and build something meaningful was to look beyond the offline world. Since I've always loved computers, I used tech to create my own opportunities.
The hardest part of building BeambePrep was the lack of guidance. I didn't have a senior dev to ask questions, so I hacked it together using Gemini. I used open-source references for the new FSRS algorithm and the mobile app, but building the platform meant constantly fighting rate limits—I went through 1500+ iterations, with 10 prompts each, just to painstakingly squash bugs and prevent hallucinations from breaking the code. Honestly, I built the website, the mobile app, and the desktop app entirely in my image, just the way I wanted. Frankly, it's the most sophisticated study platform in Pakistan, and whatever feature comes to my mind that I think is helpful, I implement. I literally perfect this for myself, and others just happen to find it useful as well.
When I was completing my Hifz (memorization of the Quran), I would be at it for 12 to 14 hours a day. That level of intense discipline fundamentally strengthened my mental grit. That exact same stamina and refusal to quit is what helped me push through the endless hours of debugging to finally launch this website.
My current goal is to pursue my MBBS at AKU. I strongly believe that combining my existing tech background with professional medical knowledge will allow me to create incredible, high-impact tools in the future.
As for BeambePrep? My ultimate vision is to expand this platform far beyond its current scope—pushing into full MBBS and BDS curriculums, O/A Levels, and eventually CSS and other highly competitive exams.
"Honestly, medical students should probably be giving *me* advice since I'm still in high school. But if I had to give one piece of advice to my fellow high schoolers... it would be to turn your passion into something you can put on the web for everyone to see."
