The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) conducts a separate admission cycle from provincial PMDC MDCATs for prestigious military institutions, including Army Medical College (AMC) Rawalpindi and CMH-affiliated colleges.

Unlike PMDC (which uses 10% Matric), NUMS completely excludes Matriculation marks: 50% FSc Pre-Medical + 50% NUMS Entry Test Score.
